Tour Itinerary

DAY 01:

Pick up from Delhi / Chandigarh To Kullu. Check in at Hotel & overnight stay at Kullu

DAY 02 :

Local sight seeing at Kullu Valley viz Dussehra ground, Vaishnoo devi temple, Shawl Factory, then we will proceed towards Manali along bank of river Beas .After reaching Manali ,check in at Hotel . Local sight seeing at manali (Hadimba temple,club house and mall road) in the evening time. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03:

Early in the morning at 5-6 Am we will leave to kaza along with visit to KUNZAM PASS (4551m) : 76 km: One of the highest motorable passes. Goddess Kunjum keeps guard over the pass and wards of the evil and Chandertal Lake
CHANDER TAL LAKE (4270m) : 7 km from Kunzam Pass, is one of the most beautiful lakes in the entire Himalayan region. Surrounded by snow, this deep blue water lake has a circumferences of 2.5 km. River Chandra flows very close to the lake
KAZA (3600m) : 210 km from Kalpa 47 from Tabo. The headquarters of Spiti sub-district, Kaza is on the bank of river Spiti. In earlier times, it was the capital of Nono, the chief of Spiti. It has a Buddhist Monastery and Hindu Temple. Night stay at Kaza

DAY 04- AT KAZA :

KEY GOMPA (4116m) : 7 km from Kaza. The largest monastery in Spiti Valley. Established in the 11th century has ancient Buddhist scrolls and paintings. It also houses large number of Buddhist monks and nuns KIBBER (4205 m) : 18 km from Kaza. The highest village in the world which is connected by a motorable road and also the highest village in the world which has its own polling station during elections. DHANKAR (3890m) : 24 km from Tabo, this place is famous for a Buddhist monastery.
TABO (3050 m) : 163 km from Kalpa is the ancient village of Tabo, situated on the left bank of river Spiti. Flanked on either sides by hills, its has one of the most important Buddhist monasteries regarded by many as only next to the Tholing Gompa in Tibet. It is also known as the Ajanta of the Himalayas. Tabo is the largest monastic complex of Spiti which has since been declared a protected monument under the aegis of Archaeological Survey of India.
PIN VALLEY : The Pin valley lies below the Kungri Glacier and has several beautiful and important monasteries. is called the land of Ibex and snow leopards. Overnight stay at Tabo.

DAY 05- TABO TO KALPA:

Situated at the height of 2758 m above the sea level and 110 km from Sarahan, Kalpa is a beautiful and main village of Kinnaur. Across the river faces the majestic mountains of the Kinner Kailash range. These are spectacular sights early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and golden light. During our journey from Tabo to Kalpa we will visit NAKO Lake also. Nako Lake: Nako Lake is a high altitude lake in the Pooh sub-division of district Kinnaur . It forms part of the boundary of Nako village and seems that the village is half buried in the lake's border. It is about 3,662 metres (12,014 ft) above sea level. The lake is surrounded by willow and poplar trees. Near the lake there are four Buddhist temples Places that we will visit at kalpa :
KOTHI : Just 3 km from Recong Peo. Kothi has a temple dedicated to the goddess Chanadika Devi. Set against a backdrop of mountains and graves of the deodar the temple has an unusual architectural style and fine sculpture. An exquisite gold image of goddess is enshrined in sanctum. Chandika Temple - An old temple presenting traditional culture; PUH (2837m) : Lush green fields, orchards of apricot, almond trees and vineyards, are to be seen on route NH2 . Overnight at Hotel at KAPLA

DAY 06 KALPA -SANGLA-CHITKUL-KAPLA:

Full day excursion to Sangla Valley,the most beautiful valley of Kinnaur . We will go till Chitkul,which is India's last inhebited village. While returning back from Chitkul we will see Kamru fort also.In the evening back to Hotel or Camps .Overnight stay at Sangla / Kalpa

DAY 07- SANGLA / KALPA - SARAHAN:

Nearly after six hours drive from Kalpa we will reach Sarahan. Check in at hotel & visit old Bhimakali temple in the evening . Bhimakali temple is regarded as one of the Shaktipeeths. Overnight stay at Hotel at Sarahan.

DAY 08 -SARAHAN TO SHIMLA :

After breakfast move from Sarahan to Shimla with a visit to Hatu peak if time permits. Arrive shimla by the evening , check in at hotel. In the evening time you are free for individual activities or to go to Mall Road and Ridge. Overnight night stay at Hotel at Shimla.

DAY 09- SHIMLA - CHANDIGARH/DELHI

After breakfast move back to Chandigarh or Delhi. Tour ends with happy memmories.
