Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Leh

On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to Hotel. Lunch at hotel. Complete day for rest to get acclimatize with the high altitude in Leh (Ladakh) which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: In Leh - Monestries Tour (Shey - Thiksey - Hemis)

On this day you will go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries in this area. Shey Gompa is about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17'Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa. Thiksey Gompa, close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order. Hemis, about 45 kms south of Leh it is one of the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17'Th century. The setting is perfect with the monastery cradled in a lovely valley, surrounded by streams and fronted by long Mani walls. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 :In Leh - Excursion to Pangong Lake (290 Kms)

In the early morning with packed lunch ,start up your drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong, which is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long.

Day 04: Leh - Khardung La - Leh (85 Kms)

After breakfast, day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motor able pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the evening return back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Leh - Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 Kms)

Leave in the morning and drive to Chumathang stop at Upshi for check point. From here the road turns towards left and reach Karu. Chumathang is famous for medical hot spring & people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive upto Maha bridge the main checking point to enter to this new area. From here the road is rough. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds. Chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull. The Lake is 8 Kms. Wide and 28 Kms long. Overnight in tents.

Day 06:Tsomorriri - Tsokar Lake - Sarchu

Drive to Mahe village and the road turns left from here towards Puga Valley. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. This is Butan gas which Puga valley is famous. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass (13500 ft.) and visit Tsokar (small Lake) and one can visit Thugke gompa. The place is famous for wild asses are generally seen here grazing and they seem moving in flocks. From here short drive and reach on National Highway route (Leh - Manali). Continue drive towards Sarchu. Overnight at Sarchu Camps.

Day 07: Sarchu - Manali (222 kms/ 9 hrs)

From Sarchu riding upto Baralacha Pass which is an entry into Lahaul valley. We continue our descend crossing Zingzingbar, Darcha, Jispa and riding across Lahaul valley to Khoksar where after much needed tea break we start another ascend of our last challenge, The Rohtang Pass. We cross the pass to enter the lush green Kullu valley ending our Motorbike Safari in Manali. We bid farewell to our companions The Royal Enfields, carrying fond memories & promise to meet again. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Manali - Delhi .

On this day ,after breakfast depart Manali with never ending memories. End of tour & our services
