Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Manali

Check in at hotel in the morning time. Take rest for few hours. Afternoon half day city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Club House, Vashisht Village and Tibetan Monastery. Blessed with some of the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes anywhere, Manali is considered to be a travellers paradise -lofty snow peaks, deep gorges, lush green valleys, fast flowing rivers, enchanting mountain lakes, flower bedecked meadows, beautiful temples and monasteries . Evening time free to explore local market .Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 02: Manali - Jispa (138 kms/ 7 hrs)

After breakfast start up your journey to Jispa . It will be almost seven hours drive from Manali to Jispa, enroute Keylong ,crossing over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and a few villages of Lahaul valley like Sissu, Gondla and confluence of Chandra & Bhaga rivers at Tandi. This route would provide you views of mountains, several streams, waterfalls and hanging glaciers. After a short stop at Keylong continue drive to Jispa. On arrival check in at hotel. In the evening walk around the beautiful Jispa valley.

Day 03: Jispa - Tsomorriri (320 kms/ 11 hrs)

Jispa onwards you will encounter the second pass called Bara Lacha Pass surrounds by heavy snow and offers an incredible view of Trans Himalayan ranges. Further drive to Sarchu a flat ground drving an altitude of around 4000meter above sea level will be another major attraction. Gradual climb to reach at Pang where you may find some seasonal tea shop and eat some food. Further drive from this point you have Morai plains with dusty trails & take a right turn to enter in a gorge to enter in Tso Kar Valley which is a beautiful high altitude Sault lake and further drive will take to most beautiful Lake Tso Moriri ( 4573 M) .

Day 04: Tsomorriri - Leh (228 kms/ 8 hrs)

Today after breakfast leave for Leh via Mahe Bridge. Now you can have a clear view of Indus River. In the evening check in a hotel at beautiful Lake Tso Moriri ( 4573 M) .

Day 05: In Leh - Monestries Tour (Shey - Thiksey - Hemis)

On this day you will go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries in this area. Shey Gompa is about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17'Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa. Thiksey Gompa, close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order. Hemis, about 45 kms south of Leh it is one of the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17'Th century. The setting is perfect with the monastery cradled in a lovely valley, surrounded by streams and fronted by long Mani walls. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Leh - Khardung La - Nubra (150 Kms /6hrs)

After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest Motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. First visit SUMUR, another pretty village on the other side of the river'; SAMSTANLING GOMPA here was founded by Lama Tsultims Nima and Monastic community was introduced as Rezong Gonpa. Diskit, & Hunder in the valley are the main centers of tourist attaraction .Overnight at deluxe camp / hotel in Nubra.

Day 07:Nubra Valley - Leh

In the morning after your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a double hump camel safari . Later we drive to Leh over Khardung La. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: In Leh - Excursion to Pangong Lake (290 Kms)

In the early morning with packed lunch ,start up your drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong, which is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the beauty of the lake. Later drive back to Leh reaching back by evening. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 09: Leh - Tanglang La - Sarchu (253 kms/ 9 hrs)

Morning we start our drive back to Manali. From Leh we ride towards Sarchu riding along Indus till Upshi from where we start our climb upto Tanglang La Pass which is Worlds IInd highest motorable pass, cross More Plains and onwards crossing Lachung La, Naki la to reach Sarchu. On arrival check in and overnight at camp.

Day 10: Sarchu - Manali (222 kms/ 9 hrs)

From Sarchu riding upto Baralacha Pass which is an entry into Lahaul valley. We continue our descend crossing Zingzingbar, Darcha, Jispa and riding across Lahaul valley to Khoksar where after much needed tea break we start another ascend of our last challenge, The Rohtang Pass. We cross the pass to enter the lush green Kullu valley ending our Motorbike Safari in Manali. We bid farewell to our companions The Royal Enfields, carrying fond memories & promise to meet again. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Depart Manali

On this day ,after breakfast depart Manali with never ending memories. End of tour & services of Manali Live Group
