Dhana Kunu Pass
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Receiving at pulag base camp .
we will pick you from naggar acclimatization walk to naggar and then jeep ride to base camp which 8 km away from naggar The trek cover many famous places like "kestle" which is a historical edifice and place served as the residence of "Raja Sidh Singh " of kullu . it was built in 1460 A.D in the year 1978 the kestle was converted into a rest house. the small courtyrd temple here contains a stone slab named "Jagatipatt" . the trek covers also "Gowrishankar Temple " 11th century old which has made by "Pandva" . A further walk lead us to "Tripura sundari temple " which is a remarkable example of " Pahadi Style " temple. later on one could also see " Roerich Art Gallery". then we will go to base camp orientation regarding the trek will be given by staff in the evening . it will be about like Ruck Sack packing , marching and general awareness the trek. stay at base camp in over night.
Day 2: Transfer to Jana
The trek begins from the old picturesque.we will go by a Jeep drive to Jana through the dense forest of magnificent pines , cedar and apple orchards and provides a beautiful view of the valley and snow clad peaks. Matakochari commands a panoramic view of kullu valley . During night in a clear weather one gets a felling as if there are two skies . one on the top of our head with twinkling stars and second below with glimmering artificial lights . Camp sight at Matakochari.
Day 3: Matakochari - Phutasor - Runtu (2800 mtrs) 5-6 hours.
Initially a sleep but later gradual trek throug dense forest of pine , oak and brown leaves beautiful meadows takes us to small natural lake at Phutasor . The trek Continuous with a number of ascent and descend but is equally rewarding . camp sight at Rumtu.
Day 4: Rumtu-Dhanakun pass (3600 mtrs) Chaklani (3260 mtrs) 6-7 hours.
Initially a steep ascend to the top of the Dhanaknu pass. The pass overviews a wide and stunning view of Pir Panjal , Dhauladhaar rangers and Parvati Valley . Trekkers can have enjoy of snow slid at Dhanakunu and get down to the beautiful camp at Chaklani. over night at Chaklani.
6Day 5: Chaklani to base camp.
Descend down to the base camp Pulag through the beautiful view of Navatapu and the thick forest of oak , chest nut , burch , brown leaves . they are big grounds in Navatapu where we can take rest and have look of friendship peak, Hunman Tibba , Seven Sisters Peak, Beas River and Manali city. after Navatapu thats Descend to base camp over night stay at base camp.
Day 6: Departure Day
In the morning after breakfast it will be some rest and refreshment same day will be the departure day.
