Dhana Kunu Pass
Highlights
One of the most breathtaking trails in the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh, the mighty peaks of the Pir Panjal and the Dhauladhar ranges flank the Dhana-Kunu pass (colloquially often abbreviated to the DK pass) - one of the unique features of this trek. This trek brings the trekkers to the off-route (and off-beat) village of Naggar - an ancient town which served as the former capital of Kullu. It commands extensive views of the Beas valley, situated at a vantage point of 1850 m in the Himalayas. For this, and the once-in-a-lifetime views that one can have on every day of this trek, it should feature on the to-do list of all mountain and trekking enthusiasts.
